Preparing your jacuzzi for winter – the most important rules

Before winter arrives, make sure to thoroughly prepare your hot tub for winter conditions. If you plan to use your hot tub year-round, it is crucial to regularly check the water temperature and the heating system. Application thermal cover will protect the water from excessive cooling and contamination, which will translate into lower power consumption. What's more, the cover will not only help maintain the right temperature in the jacuzzi, but also protect the equipment from snow.

It is worth remembering that in the event of a longer break in the use of the jacuzzi, the water should be completely drained and the jets and pump thoroughly dried, preferably with compressed air. This process will prevent the water from freezing in the installation elements, which could damage the equipment.

Safety and comfort during winter bathing

Safe use of a garden tub in winter requires appropriate protection and comfort, so it is important to take care of the details around the jacuzzi. It is worth installing the tub near the entrance to the house, which will reduce the time spent outside in sub-zero temperatures.

A robe or towel rack placed near the jacuzzi will provide additional comfort after getting out of the tub. A floating table or one placed next to the spa tub will also work great, where you can place warm, warming winter drinks to enjoy relaxation in the winter weather to the fullest.

An optional installation in our jacuzzis is an additional module Wi-Fi, to remotely modify and control the temperature in the jacuzzi, using smartphone.

How to care for your jacuzzi water during the colder months?

Winter is a time when the water in your garden hot tub requires special care. To avoid water quality problems, regularly check the pH level and use appropriate cleaning agents. Before winter arrives, it is also worth replacing the filters, which will ensure the smooth operation of the pump and hydromassage system. If you use your garden hot tub several times a week, it may be necessary to rinse the jets more often to prevent them from becoming clogged with impurities.

The Most Common Jacuzzi Problems in Winter and How to Avoid Them

When using your garden spa in the winter, you may encounter some difficulties, such as water freezing or rodent problems. To avoid this, regularly check the installation and make sure the spa is level, without any gaps that could provide a haven for rodents. It is also worth using repellents to protect the interior of the spa from unwanted guests.

Another challenge is keeping it clean during the winter. It can be helpful to place a small tub of water in front of the hot tub to rinse your feet before soaking in the hot water. This will help reduce the amount of dirt that gets into the hot tub.

Benefits of using a jacuzzi in winter

Bathing in an outdoor jacuzzi in winter has many benefits, both for the body and mind. The hot water in the jacuzzi relaxes the muscles, improves circulation and helps to relax after a stressful day. What's more, immersing yourself in a warm bath in the fresh air, surrounded by snowy scenery, is a unique experience that improves your mood and also affects the quality of your sleep. A jacuzzi in a winter garden is also a great way to spend time together with loved ones, regardless of the weather outside.

Enjoy relaxation in the year-round jacuzzi

Year-round Jacuzzi is an excellent choice for people who want to enjoy relaxing baths all year round. By properly preparing your jacuzzi for winter, you can enjoy comfort, safety and relaxation even on the coldest days. Choose equipment equipped with appropriate insulating materials, service the device regularly and take advantage of its benefits in the colder part of the year to relax your muscles to the maximum and improve your well-being.
